MRS. Iyabode Olabisi Seriki – Director, Administration and Human Resource

Mrs. Iyabode Olabisi Seriki, joined the service as a GL.10 Officer in the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission in 1989 till 1998 when she got conversion to Administrative Officer cadre as a Senior Admin Officer in Lagos State Civil Service Commission.

In the course of her career progression, She was Senior Admin Officer in the Public Service Office (1998 -2001). Principal Administrative Officer in the Ministry of Youth, Sports & Social Development (2001 – 2005); Assistant Chief Admin Officer in the Office of Drainage Services (2005 – 2011); Chief Admin. Officer in the Cabinet Office (2011 – 2012); Assistant Director (Admin & Human Resources) and the Secretary to New Towns Development Authority (2012 – 2015); Deputy Director (Admin & Human Resources) in the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development (2015 – 2019).

In regard to academic matters, Mrs. Seriki attended Luba Comprehensive High School, Ijebu Ode (1972 – 1977) for West African School Certificate; Queens School, Ibadan (1979 – 1981) for Higher School Certificate; University of Ibadan, Ibadan (1982 -1986) for B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture (Animal Science); and University of Lagos, Lagos (2005-2007) for                           M.Sc Public Admin.

This programme focused, analytical and goal driven professional who did her National Youth Service Corps in Kaduna State  Schools Management Council from 1986 – 1987 belongs to Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN).

Amongst the trainings she attended since joining the Civil Service are “Business Opportunities in Agriculture”, “Developing Leadership Skill through Coaching and Mentoring”, “Efficient Budgeting and Management for Sustainable Economic Growth and Development”. “Leadership Development Planning”, and “Human Resources Management – The Way Forward for Development of Human Capital in the State Public Service” which have contributed to her optimal performance as a thoroughbred Administrative Officer.
