Mr. Ojikutu, Oladele. G. was born on 3rd January, 1963 to the family of Eweina-Ojikutu of Agbowa-Ikosi, Ikosi-Ejinri LCDAin Lagos State. He started his Primary Education at the then Local Authority Primary School, Agbowa-Ikosi but concluded it at Baptist Day Primary School, Agbowa-Ikosi. He thereafter proceeded to Epe Grammar School, Epe for his Secondary School Education but later transferred to the then IkosiMethodist High School now Lagos State Model College, Agbowa-Ikosi.
He obtained his National Certificate of Education at AdeniranOgunsanya College of Education before proceeding to the University of Calabar (UNICAL) where he obtained the Bachelor of Art in Education (BA ED) in 1990.
Mr. Ojikutu, O.G. did a Diploma Course in Marketing at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism before proceeding to University of Lagos in 1997 for a Master Degree Programme in Public Administration. He is currently at the National Open University (NOUN) running a Master Programme in Business Administration.
Mr. Ojikutu, O.G. after conclusion of his National Youth Service briefly taught at Adesoye College, a Private School in Offa, Kwara State before He secured appointment with the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) in 1992 as Master Grade II officer and was posted to Sango Secondary School, Agege.
He joined the mainstream Civil Service in January 1994 when he was offered appoint as Inspector of Education I, Grade Level 9. After serving for seven years in the Inspectorate Department, he was redeployed to Scholarship Board, Agege where he acted as head of the following Sessions at different intervals between Y2000 and 2007.• Scholarship Award• Statistics & Budget Session• Operation and Bursary Matters
Mr. Ojikutu, Oladele was again redeployed to the Ministry of Education in April 2007 and posted to Basic Services Department (BES) where he served in the Exams Unit and headed the Schools Admin Unit before he was appointed as Head of Department of Basic Education Services (BES) Department in August 2021 where he currently serves.
